The dormitory is located in Odense V close to public transport, such as buses and the Light Rail. There are plenty of shopping possibilities within walking distance. The dormitory is also right next to Tietgens Handelsgymnasium.

Rasmus Raskkollegiet has many facilities, where it is possible to be active and meet your fellow residents. Among others there is a sauna, fitnessroom, common room and a big nice bar, where it is possible to have fun and play a big variety of games. The dormitory also has some lovely outdoor areas with a playground, beachvolley and green areas suitable for families with children. 

All accommodations with exception of block 26 and 27 have gotten new kitchens and inventory, such as stoves, ovens, fridges and freezers during 2008/2009. Accommodations in block 26 and 27 has been completely modernized during spring 2019.

The dormitory is also equipped with solar cells, which cover around 17% of the collected dormitory electricity consumption. In the summer months, where the solar cells produce the most electricity and the consumption is at the lowest, the excess electricity is sold to Energinet, which provide the dormitory with around 15.000 to 20.000 in revenue annually.
